Dick Stovall
Dick has worked in healthcare finance for 31 years as business office cashier, director of reimbursement and budget, controller and Chief Financial Officer. He is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Southern Regional Health System in Riverdale, GA.
Dick is a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). He developed and taught "Finance and Budgeting for Nonfinancial Managers" for 5 years for HFMA. He has worked with Lab and Pharmacy Directors at the local, regional, and national levels to assist them in applying financial skills to departmental management.
Dick's undergraduate work was at Georgia State University. His MBA is from Kennesaw State University where he is the past President of the Kennesaw State University Alumni Association.
He is a contributor to the National Society of Pharmaceutical Sales Trainer magazine, NewsPost, and to the Pharmaceutical Representative Magazine.
He has worked with Stovall Grainger & Modleski, Inc. to develop and deliver programs on Finance for non-financial professionals, and on understanding how finance impacts decisions within the hospital and integrated health system environment.
With Stovall Grainger & Modleski & Modleski, Inc., Dick is able to ensure real-world hospital relevance to the strategic account planning process as it relates to the healthcare world. He is also a content expert with regard to SGM's case study development process.
His consulting has been with Nycomed Inc., Ortho-McNeil, Roche Diagnostics, Roche Pharmaceuticals, Sanofi Pharmaceuticals, Rhone Poulenc Rorer, Solvay Pharmaceuticals, and Novo Nordisk.
